The next NPSOT-Wilco monthly meeting will be Thursday, February 8. Our featured presentation will be Useful Wild Plants of Texas which will be extremely interesting and timely since the field of ethnobotany is gaining popularity. We will be favored with an extraordinarily gifted speaker, Scooter Cheatham, who founded the Useful Wild Plants project in 1971. With his credentials as an author, artist, architect, landscape designer, graphic designer, photographer, and teacher, he is everything rolled into one man that is needed to produce an encyclopedic work. And that is what he has done.
Join us at 6:30, if you wish, for meeting and greeting others who love native plants. Check out the seed exchange opportunity. We will be in the Hewlett Room upstairs in the Georgetown Library. Our start time will be 7 pm.
