Many streams and waterways have been impacted by agricultural practices, changes in the watershed due to urban development, or natural disasters. Streams have been degraded resulting in severe erosion, loss of riparian vegetation and aquatic habitat, and water quality impacts. This presentation will provide an overview of design approaches used to restore natural stream functions using specialized structures and vegetation.
