Anne Blount earned her B.S. in Food Science way back in the 70s, and passed the CPA exam in Louisiana in 1991. She has been gardening since the 80s but became interested in natives when she became a Texas Master Naturalist, Heartwood Chapter, in 2021, . Now she’s converting her tiny yard in The Woodlands into a native garden, bit by bit. She also volunteers at the Mercer, propagating native plants. When she’s not gardening, she’s knitting or traveling. Anne can be reached at pnp.npsot.treasurer@gmail.com.
