Nature Preserve Officer City of San Antonio Phil Hardberger Park
Phil Hardberger Park opened to the public in May 2010. Wendy Leonard, PHP Nature Preserve Officer, oversaw the transformation of the land from a former dairy farm to the 330-acre nature preserve that it is today. Wendy shares her first hand knowledge of the many projects involved, including the restoration of the native habitat and the construction of the Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge. She also gives an update on the Land Bridge Wildlife Study and the challenges of establishing the native landscape on the bridge.
