April 18, 2023 @ 9:30 am – 2:00 pm
On Tuesday, April 18, there will be a field trip to Carol Clark’s property between Gainesville and Sherman, starting at 10:00am. The farm is located at 15493 FM678, Callisburg / Whitesboro.
- We will need to make a last-minute judgment call if the road’s leading to the farm are drivable. You are strongly encouraged to carpool to reduce parking problems, since parking will be limited.
- Since we can only really assess the road condition a few days ahead of the scheduled trip, we need everybody who is going or may attend to send Carol a note (carol@r-d-clark.com), so that she can send cancellations if needed. Once you are registered, she will send you directions and further instructions.
- Carol can be contacted at 214.437.8253, or via Richard’s cell at 214.437.5764.
- Sturdy footwear will be required, as well as bug spray, sunscreen, and drinking water. There is a bathroom available.
- All participants need to be advised that we are not responsible for any illness or injury due to natural hazards including venomous snakes, open holes, vines, spiders, scorpions, bees, etc.
- Also, Mary Curry will bring the last few copies of her book “North Central Texas Wildflowers” to sell for $40 cash, exact change only.
