Please join us for our next chapter meeting on Tuesday, April 4th, for a lively panel discussion on a wide range of topics related to Native Plants. Social time begins at 6:30, followed by a short chapter update at 7:00, and then the panel discussion. This is a virtual meeting. Registration is required.
Our three panelists are:

- Carol Feldman – Is a landscape architect, former president of the state NPSOT board, and helped establish the Native Landscape Certification Program in the Dallas – Fort Worth area.
- Mary Ann Lynch – A long-time native plant and organic vegetable gardening enthusiast.
- Amy Monroy – Is the Native Garden Manager at the Heard Museum. She is a Master Naturalist, active with the NPSOT, and previously helped manage the native gardens at Brookhaven College.
The discussion will include a combination of moderator-driven topics and questions from the audience. Time permitting, the topics will include:

- How to get the most benefit from the Heard Native Plant Sale and other native plant sales
- Why North Texas’ ecosystem is uniquely situated

- Importance of Pollinators
- Top North Texas Shrubs and Trees
- Myths about Native Plants
