April NPSOT-Houston Board Meeting
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers who are passionate about the native plant mission. Anyone is welcome to attend our board meetings on zoom for the fun and rewarding work that goes into our various projects.
Predatory Garden Insects from the Nature Discovery Center – April 18
Join us to have a look at the various predatory insects that can be found in the native plant gardens at the Nature Discovery Center, such as assassin bugs, ladybird Beetles, and Wasps. We will also talk about what you can do to encourage them to stay and prey in your garden.
Restoring Riparian Buffers Throughout The City of Houston – March 21
Riparian buffers, or the forests along our bayou systems, are critically important for water quality and wildlife habitat. Join us to learn about the City of Houston’s Riparian Restoration Initiative!

NPSOT-Houston Holiday Dinner – December 21
Rather than hold our regular third-Thursday monthly meeting during this busy time of year, our tradition is to gather for a meal and some fellowship with other native plant enthusiasts. Join us any time after 6:30pm; the restaurant is a buffet so it will be easy for people to come and go as their schedule allows!
