The BioBlitz will be an opportunity for residents to join other nature-lovers for an early evening lecture and adventure. Attendees will learn about native pollinators from local scientists, nature photographers and native pollinator expert Scott Buckel.
Learn about the Clear Lake Chapter’s Native Pollinator Habitat Grant program, how to plan a pollinator garden for public spaces, and what the committee is looking for in an application.
Joe Marcus will cover the history of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center’s Native Plants of North America (NPONA) resource, the current state of the resource, and upcoming changes.
