You don’t have to belong to a chapter to be a member of the Native Plant Society of Texas but those members who do join a chapter get more out of their membership. We have chapters in most large communities in Texas. You can join any chapter you want. Members can join one local chapter for free and additional chapters by paying a small extra fee.

If there is not a chapter that works for you, then you might like to form a new chapter. Chances are there are others in your community who share your interests and also would enjoy being in a chapter.  All you need are ten memberships to start a chapter. Belinda McCoy has started several new chapters in her East Texas region. Her two-part guide will step you through her process of starting a chapter and keeping it going.
