Monarch garden grants awarded

By on March 14, 2017

The Bring Back the Monarch to Texas project has just awarded 12 grants totaling $4200 to build Monarch habitat.

The grants are awarded each year to schools and community gardens around the state to fund planting of Monarch waystations. The Bring Back the Monarch to Texas committee reviews applications and selects recipients of the awards. Funds are only used to purchase native milkweed and native nectar plants used by the Monarch butterflies.
